D.M: Another upbeat track with some great guitars (17 in all) and some ghostly (or should that have been ‘ghastly’?) keyboards. The brass section cost us a fortune, but they were worth it. They brought their own teabags, which was nice. If you list all the go-kart-and-dementia songs ever written, I think you’ll find this in the top 1.

P.H: The lyric to this ditty was inspired by my reading or hearing too many interviews of septuagenarian rock stars being asked about some event or record from half a century back and getting the details either hideously wrong or hopelessly confused with entirely something else. I thought, “Oh, I’ve still got my wits sharp as an eraser. You won’t catch me getting brain-bewildered or memory-lossed. My marbles are all accounted for,” but I find that it is beginning to happen more and more. Or maybe it has been ongoing for some time and I hadn’t noticed - because I forgot that I had forgotten what it was I forgot. But this song is unforgettable - especially to those who have heard it and remember it.
