TATTOO REMOVAL SERVICE

D.M: This is as jazzy as it gets from us. It has a wonderful simplicity about it. Another example of Paul’s genius as a musical director. Of all the songs out there about services in which tattoos can be removed, this is possibly the one I like best. The bass could have been more prominent, but mixed is mixed, so no point (!) in crying over spilt whisky.

P.H: Much of our catalogue is stuffed from basement to chimney pot with zillions of overdubs - wah-wah bagpipes, backwards castanets, a thousand vocoders intoning a Hebrew translation of ‘Mein Kampf’ through a fuzz-box (you know; the usual stuff) - but my taste is more for the pared-to-the-bone type of arrangement, and this is a cracking example.
The words are pretty self-explanatory. I’m not a fan of my voice but I must admit to quite liking the quivering quaver it has right at the end of the song.
