D.M: One of the truly greatest songs ever written and all the better for being stripped down as it is. I love when Paul does his ‘Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrressed up in your blinkers’ rolling arse. One of his greatest vocal performances in my mind, and not too bad in my ears either. I think the song started off with Paul sending me a drum track in which I could hear some distant notes. The rest is rock-n-roll history.

P.H: Something a bit more in the upward shaky-buttocks, point-a-finger-at-the-sky-and-shout direction, just to stop you nodding off after the previous two songs. Going back to what I was bellyaching about before apropos a deluge of overdubs, this song had a stack of different guitar parts all jockeying for prominence. It was all getting a mite messy so it was streamlined down to the essentials.
